Thanks for the previous response. I just want to make sure I understand what Prontonic is capable of before I get to far down the road. By being a \"virtual\" extender, it allows for me to send commands from my Pronto to Homeseer to have it do certain things.

i.e. Create a button on my Pronto, that activates a HomeSeer script to Arm my security system for "Home"

i.e. Create a button on my Pronto, that uses both Pronto Macros and HomeSeer events, bring up a PIP on my television screen (Pronto IR) and show a security camera feed from the front door?

Are these things possible?

Yes that sounds about correct of what you can do with it.
To put it simply Pronotnic is just a trigger in Homeseer. No more no less. So
So all Prontonic does is to say "Something happened. Do something homeseer"
Then it depends on what you have configured in Homeseer.
For example I have a button that turns off my system. In that single button a Pronto macro is executed that does the following.
1. Send, using a signal to a normal real extender, that turns off the TV, DVD & Receiver.
2. Then another command in the macro sends a command to Prontonic thats called "all off" in homeseer. In that trigger I execute a homeseer script that in turn sends out Z-Wave signals that turns off each light in turn in my home.
Lastly just for kicks the homeseer script executes a say command that says 'goodby' ;)
