I love what your plug-in is going to allow me to do with my soon be born automation system. My question is will the virtual RFX9600 work in reverse. What I mean is, my understanding of the current operation is that Protonic will allow my TSU9600 to control HomeSeer, thru the virtual commands, but the question I have is will HomeSeer be able to control devices connected to real RFX9600s.

What I envision is connecting my A/V gear to the real RFX9600 extenders so I can control them primarily thru the TSU9600, but for certain things I would like to be able to use my HomeSeer touchscreens to perform certain functions. What would be your recommended solution for my problem?

Yes your correct. Prontonic can only send TSU9600 commands to Homeseer. Allowing homeseer to control a RFX9x00 would be quite a lot of work. Mainly the work would be in reverse engineering all commands.
I had some plans on doing a 'recorder'. It would work by putting the prontonic stand alone program in proxy mode. It would then record what the RFX9600 send back and forth to the TSU9600. The captured data could then be used in the homeseer plugin to play back the command sequence.
But I dont have any time at all to do this. Currently I'm not sure about the best route for you to take. The new pronto script that comes with the new firmware might be worth a look. I haven't had any time to look at it though so I'm not sure.
